10 suggested ways to Reject your "White Privilege:"

    (And, my response to each):

#1. Take up minimal space during anti-racism dialogues and protests....

--Fair enough. How about, I just don't take part in such, as I will be unwelcome due to the color of my skin.....

#2. Stop contributing to "gentrification" and calling it "urban development."

--Okay. I am all for spending less on urban development. Why "gentrify" it, when it will only be torn up, and, in doing so, we somehow offend people.

#3. Listen when people call you on your micro aggression....

--Say what? No one listens to ME when I call them out for their MACRO aggression.....

#4. Never invited people of color to the table for the sake of claiming diversity.

--Never have, and, I never will. The people of color who are at my table are there because they are either my friends, or, business aquaintances.

#5. Refrain from using your non-white friends as your "urban dictionary."

--That is a silly phenomenon, I have seen. But, most who do this are trying to "fit in." Not a real problem for me. I speak, my friends speak. Mostly in Hickbonics, but, if they speak Ebonics, Yankbonics, or MINNESOOTAN, it's all English. We will either understand each other, or, we won't. If we do not, we will either SEEK to understand each other, or....we won't.

#6. Stop lifting up non-confrontational people of color as examples of what POC activism should be....

--YES. Because CONFRONTATION tends to work so well. Get up in people's faces. Confront them, maybe, even threaten them. Certainly deride them. That will win them to your point of view! Works every time!

#7. Call your friends, family and co-workers out for racism--even if a POC is not in the room.

--Just randomly? OR, do they have to do or SAY something "Racist?" This actually IS a good suggestion...but only if you call crackers out for being RACIST. Not just for being RACIST, because they are Crackers. Then, it's just name calling.....

#8. Understand that all anti-racism work does not look the same, and advocate accordingly....

--What the fuck does that even mean?

#9. Realize that all discussions about race are not about you. And be okay with it.

--Fair enough. Race, racism, and the discussions of such....simply NOT my problem. Hell, even if I wanted to help....I am not welcome in this discussion. Fine.

#10. Recognize that you are still a racist. No matter what.

--??????Does this apply to ALL Human Beings? OR, just Crackers?

Because, telling Crackers, that, they are RACIST, simply for being born White....that ain't "racist" at all. LOL, not one bit!

    Mr. Rorschach,

    Here's my 10 ways:

    1. White privilege is a bs term made up by losers to explain why they are losers
    2. White privilege my ass. I got where I am today because of my talents, not because of my race.
    3. Maybe if you stopped whining about white privilege and actually took responsibility for your life, you wouldn't be so bitter about your shortcomings.
    4. You should read "Harrison Bergeron" then get back to me
    5. Notice how Asians never complain about "white privilege"?
    6. Spare me, I have better things to do than listen to you whine.
    7. I guess the fact that I worked every day since I was 16, except for my final two semesters in college, had nothing to do with my success.
    8. You call it white privilege, I call it never getting into trouble, working hard, and being in an in demand career that got me where I am today
    9. If I am so privileged, how come my house is only worth $750K?
    10. Does that mean that LaBron James is only a success because of "black privilege"?

    1. White privilege is a bs term made up by losers to explain why they are losers
--Only ONE of the reasons. Don't forget: James Comey, the FBI, SEXISM, the Electoral College, Dumb Hillbilly's (Just LOADED with WHITENESS, if not privilege...), and, of course....the RUSSIANS! (MOSTLY White guys, by the way....)

    2. White privilege my ass. I got where I am today because of my talents, not because of my race
--So. You weren't given an education, job, car, family, or house....simply by registering as a White person? (That's odd. Neither was I....where do we register for those White Privilege benefits?)

    3. Maybe if you stopped whining about white privilege and actually took responsibility for your life, you wouldn't be so bitter about your shortcomings.
--DUDE. I am White. I don't really have any faults. (Must be from that White Privilege thingy we got going....)

    4. You should read "Harrison Bergeron" then get back to me
--Maybe after I finish with the Penthouse Letters.....

    5. Notice how Asians never complain about "white privilege"?
--Neither do Hispanics. (But, if, we are to be racially prejudiced....Asian people are at the top of the Human ladder. Japanese, are like freaking ELVES, they are so far above the average human being. IF we were to look at things through the prism of race......)

    6. Spare me, I have better things to do than listen to you whine
    --Such as answer it?

    7. I guess the fact that I worked every day since I was 16, except for my final two semesters in college, had nothing to do with my success.
--Not if you are White. Working since you were 16....sounds like Mommy and Daddy took care of you, but....didn't pay for playtime, leaving that to you (Back in the day, when parents were downright MEAN! Mine were as well. They only got me a used car, for me first vehicle. And I TOO...had to work, in order to have spending money....) Working through college is mucho tougher. But, you are White, so, it was all EASY PEASY for you, no?

    8. You call it white privilege, I call it never getting into trouble, working hard, and being in an in demand career that got me where I am today
--Here is where we may differ, as I DID get in trouble (NOTE: That White Privilege thingy....it down't get you out of a DUI. Not even in the racist South!) AND....as far as I can tell, none of that White Privilege helped me with my fines, jail time or community service. Didn't pay for my increased insurance, either. Not once, did it drive me around, when my license was suspended.....

    9. If I am so privileged, how come my house is only worth $750K?
--DAMN, dude! You have a much better home than I do. You should pay more taxes, and do with less, so that I can get some of your resources. You kinda owe me. what, me being born and all....

    10. Does that mean that LaBron James is only a success because of "black privilege"?
--No, that is called "Athletic Privilege." And, the fact that in America, unprivileged people can make MILLIONS of dollars, playing a game. Singing a song. OR, reading a few lines of script, and showing us a titty ore a bare buttocks.....

PS I hope your sarcasm detector is on. You do realize, that we are on the same side here, right?

Why would any White person want to reject "White privilege." But I have an easier solution. Get rid of non-whites. Also, you missed out on the number one way to reject "White privilege." And it ovviously trumps all others. Have Whites become accepting of racial equality.

From what I understand, if you are white, you are a racist. How racist are you? It comes in degrees, but non-whites cannot be racist.

Most people not named Michael Jackson or Rachel Dolezal are happy with their race.

Always a few exceptions, of course...

You know, the term "crackers" is a bit dated.

Like Louis ck says in one of his bits "thanks for reminding me of a time when I could own people" about being called cracker.

But, ya, I never got any of that white privilege. I had to work my ass off to get the meagre level of privilege that I have... I remember getting looked at in stores like I was stealing something white privilege didn't help me there. It didn't help me when I was living on someone's couch 2 weeks from being on the streets... Luckily I got an offer halfway across the country at buzzer beater time. Worked for the guy, cashed the first check... Second payday the guy had moved out and changed numbers.
    Thanks from Gonk
