I realize that on a visceral level in a way that few others do. And so does every other trans person who has ever had, wants to have, or might want in the future to have hormones since they've become an available medical treatment. What it's always been about is certain cultures' historical discomfort with anything that exists outside of rigidly defined and extremely limited in scope gender roles and expectations *cough*Abrahamic religions*cough*.
no, it is not medically necessary. You may think it is, but it is not

Seriously. Talk about insane. You know, Jenner doesn't give a shit. I like that. I saw several programs with her over the past couple of years and she has really grown into herself. If someone says 'Hey, man!' She's all HEY! She said this is all she ever really wanted. Just to walk around the way she is and have people say hey, treat her like a person. She could give a shit about pronouns, and she still responds favorably to being called Bruce.

In a discussion on a serious matter a man accidentally said 'As a man of faith,,,,' and then said 'oh, sorry, I mean,,,,,,,' She was like don't even worry over it.

That is how it should be. Especially for her, someone who people knew as Bruce for so long. Idolized him as an athlete. She seems to have the attitude that as long as anyone is responsive or outgoing to her, she doesn't care which name or pronoun they use.

Very mature outlook, and a recognition that these things are DIFFICULT for others. She doesn't only care about herself, whining and stomping about 'misgendering' and 'deadnaming' or whatever that term is if I didn't say it right.

It's unreasonable to expect the world to get a PhD in the fucking subject. It touches very few people.

Coyote knows what is real for her. And it is not your place to tell her otherwise.

Jenner is a rich celebrity. How is such a person reflective of any general population, except that of other rich celebrities??? You are talking about someone from the fucking Kardashian family, for God's sake... Lets judge all black men based on Kanye West, by your logic lol Or all Armenian women by Kim or Khloe... God forbid lmfao

    FWIW
    I would think.

Exactly. And compelled speech is something I will never support. It's so authoritarian and quite frankly scary how some of these people are acting and the things they are advocating run down a very slippery slope.

Jenner is in a much better position to stomp and whine if she wants to. To 'educate' people on how to 'properly' speak to and around her. She doesn't want to. She doesn't want to be a walking, talking TG person, she wants to just be a person. I respect the hell out of that, especially with her Kardashian background.

She has discovered that what is really important to her, she has now. She immensely enjoys the most simple things in life. All her life she wanted to dress this way, she refers to it like two different people and she used to have to only do it places like Vegas where no one would recognize her.

Now she can go about her normal routines as herself and has realized this is all she ever wanted. It's frankly narcissistic to do otherwise. Excoriating strangers or well-meaning acquaintances. Imagine going your whole life projecting every tiny issue you have onto everyone and demanding they cater to it.

In fact, the very definition of narcissism is a person that creates a false image of themselves, can't maintain it on their own, and so they demand that others reflect it back so they can temporarily bask in it, able to see themselves as they wish they were, if only for a short time, until their next fix. That is a mental disorder. Whether TGism is is a different discussion, but there is not question about NPD.
