I spent a lot of money on Archie comics before I discovered DC.

I used to like the work of Jack Kirby who straddled both comic labels, DC and Marvel.

In fact, Jack Kirby and Stan Lee created the Black Panther character.

(The character was introduced in a Fantastic Four in 1966, this comic was from 1977.)

Wish I still had my old collection, probably not a great deal of value there, but a lot of memories.

I saw a brief trailer on the new movie and the graphics and cinematography do look spectacular!

    Thx

Ever heard of Frank Frazetta? He was an illustrator who many art experts (there's an oxymoron) have compared to the great masters. I've seen them and I think they are right. He's amazing.

nephew wants to take me and my brother.
I'd rather he took his kids and we all saw it later together.
Hard for us all to get together cuz I'm so far away.

Oh yeah, he did all those fantasy magazine covers, 100s of 'em including Conan and I believe the Molly Hatchet cover.

Most of my comic collection were DC and most from the mid-60s.

They are getting expensive anymore though, we have a large comic book shop in my town that wants $30-$40 on up.

I scored a couple old Mad magazines there for only a few dollars though.

Mort Drucker was my favorite Mad artist, but I liked Al Jaffee and several others.

    Yes, it does look rich!

I saw an extended clip from Avengers Age of Ultron and was very disappointed, there gets to be a point where there is so much action you can't even focus properly.

    Thx

    Lol, stop the madness

Black Panther has already achieved several impressive feats, but there's no way many expected it to become the #1 movie of all time.

That is the case though according to Rotten Tomatoes, at least at the moment.

Black Panther currently holds the #1 spot on the top 100 movies of all time list, but it also holds the #1 spot in the top 100 action & adventure movies list. Panther sits ahead of films like The Wizard of Oz, Get Out, Moonlight, and The Godfather on the all-time list, while it beats out films like Mad Max: Fury Road, Dunkirk, and Logan in the action and adventure category.'Black Panther' Ranked As Best Movie Of All Time By Rotten Tomatoes

    It's not gay enough.

    Yep, that's the latest.

Some lesbian themes/scenes were filmed but cut out.

There's never a shortage of people looking for a reason to be offended.

    Not gay enough.

Ya can't make this stuff up, I tells ya...
