For the record, do any sports journalists of any repute consider the Raiders' offensive line to have underperformed? Not that I have seen --- the consensus is that Washington is really good, and that Kansas City, despite firm control of the league so far, is wary of their defensive line ahead of Monday's contest. The Chiefs have thus far exploited defensive weaknesses with misdirection plays to great success, but they won't be able to do that if they lose the initiative early as Oakland did.

I just listened to an opening section of the show. "Carr was never sacked last year, so the fact that he got sacked a bunch on Sunday must mean that his O-Line betrayed him." These guys know absolutely nothing about football. Past is never prologue. Any given Sunday. Offensive linemen in particular must always be 100 percent or it looks like they suck. They can *still* be 100 percent and get overwhelmed by a talented defense, nothing to do about it til they watch the film and learn from the other team's tactics. It's like saying that if a left fielder is known for climbing fences and robbing home runs, he must be deliberately fucking up once the opposing batters start hitting it a few feet further and thus out of his reach.
    Thanks from Wonderer and HayJenn

You should listen to the whole thing, especially the part about the guard admitting what they did, heard by multiple people and the reporter who was threatened to be blacklisted if he reported on it.

LOL! The sports media would *love* to have players threaten to blacklist one of their own. Do you think things between the Trump administration and the White House press see lots of theatre, reporters tag teaming on jumping down throats? That pales in comparison to the kind of arguments sports journalists have with players, the kind they sometimes deliberately trigger to gin up ratings.

It was one of the coaches that threatened the reporter, not the players.

You really shouldn't be commenting on this if you haven't even listened to the source.

Same difference, lol. The rest of them would be allll over that. Belichick has tried various bits of nonsense with the sports media and it always blows up in his face.
