Most plausible and realistic...if in fact people were discussing Trump's involvement with Russia...then it was as just discussing what was being discussed in Washington and NOT as participants in the wrong-doing.

Remember when MacCarthy was discussing Trumps money ties to Russia on a hot mic and Ryan shut down the banter?

Just because they may know about Russia/ Trump does not mean are involved.

That was in the article. Did you see Kevin behind Trump? He kept falling asleep like he was doped or something.

This whole thing is spreading to the entire GOP!

You do know that your link is from May 2017 right? I have no doubt that Russian money found its way to more than just Trump's campaign inside the GOP. I think that is what has the GOP so panicked. I say tough shit to their panic, Mueller is a Republican. I think if there is despite this he will out them all.

Yes,I do. The reason so many Republicans are coming unglued, changing priorities.

And,I think Devin Nunes found some of the proof the night he panicked and rushed to the WhiteHouse. Nunes has been in a state of panic ever since. Trying to cover up,deflect, anything.

And now I think Trump has something on Graham.

No, @MaryAnne, Graham has been offered what ever position or plum assignment he wants in 2018 in exchange for his doing whatever he can to derail, discredit, delay the real investigation into Trump, Russia and the election. Graham is looking at ending up worse off than McCain. McCain is going to die in the arms of his family not having achieved what he wanted the most. He wanted the Presidency but because he did the right thing when he ran against Obama and would not pander to the darker side of human nature he lost it. Graham has no spouse and no kids to die in the arms of when his time comes. In his head he has decided this is his last chance to grab the brass wing while he can. He sees McCain and thinks, the good guys always finish last. He knows he will never be President so for Graham this is the next best thing. Get what you can out of this Trump presidency and screw being an honourable, patriotic man. For all we know Graham has been promised a spot on the Supreme Court as soon as the next one of them bites the dust. He would have no problem in confirmation hearings given he has been a Senator all these years. Either that or SOS job or the AG's job or hell even the VP's job if Pence gets caught up in Mueller's net.

Whatever, but Graham is now trying to salvage what is left of his reputation after finding Trump’s word means nothing.
