Global Warming Activist Freezes to Death in Antarctica
Too bad for these people, but all they had to do was look up Climate Gate. Listening to the Goracle can get you killed!

Well, Michael, even this ol liberal will concede there is a certain irony here.

Mayhap they should have thought of that, but the GW Religion tells us that the grass is growing and it ain't snowing.

Well, grass has been found in parts of Antarctica particularly during the summer months down there. This represents something unprecedented so I'd say it's something to look into. There used to be a hole in the ozone over the continent, but we came together to fix that. I don't see why we can't just settle on what level CO2 becomes a pollutant (>=300ppm I believe) and call it a day.

Well you got to figure, it ain't summer down there. Hell I bet if these people went to the north pole, they would have brought a boat.

Well, if current trends continue, then you will be able to sail a boat around the North Pole. Man-made or not, it's happening.

And how do you know the trend you think is happening is going to continue? Is that faith or have you figured out the balance between mankind and natural variability?
As I read the article I was reminded of the wildlife activist, with bears, was eaten by bears. It is ironic.

Because it's been happening for nearly a decade now. I call that a pattern. If said pattern continues, then that such thing is what we will face. I'm not making any grand apocalyptic predictions here. I'm saying if what is happening now continues, then we may not have an ice-covered north pole. We already have a permanent year-round Northwest Passage. I don't know what nature will do, but there is a science to it. The variable is us. What can we do to make sure we make that variable a neutral '1'.
