    Meet The Press

This is what we were concerned about on 9-21-2013

David Gregory and "Meet the Press" experiencing ratings disaster - San Francisco Bay Area Moderate Conservative | Examiner.com

It has to be much worse now, watching Chuck Todd is painful and as you can see, I turned it off before it is over. Never in my life have I done that but I wanted to give him a chance.

Could I be the only one here that feels that way, I want to hear both sides.

But oh for the day of Tim Russert or Garrick Utley
Thanks from jackalope, mrmike, MaryAnne and 1 others

How much more better would it be for the guest to actually face the press like before.
    Thanks from Lilly

Yes, the whole set up is strange and that might help some. They must be telling him about ratings if they are as bad as I think they must be and maybe that is part of the reason why he is so uncomfortable in his job.

    Here
Russert was fair and a true professional.

I've always thought that Chuck was a pretty decent political talking head, but I haven't seen him on MTP. I can't really even remember the last time I watched it. Gregory was never anything more than a joke, in my humble opinion.

    Liked both Russert and Gregory.

Chuck Todd is taking a different approach with an adjusted format, but think he is doing a nice job also. Seems to stay relatively objective. And has a nice mix of guests. (Darth Cheney last week as an example....)

You can not write a nasty book about the President and still be objective. Ratings are worse now than when Gregory was on

I thought the same of Chuck when he was asked his opinion on various issues but give it a try next Sunday if you have the time and you will probably see a different Chuck Todd? Maybe not?
