    Iran Nuclear Deal

Nuclear deal shows US-Iran compromise, likely Tuesday

A landmark Iran nuclear agreement was taking shape early Tuesday after clearing final obstacles, and a senior diplomat said it included a compromise between Washington and Tehran that would allow U.N. inspectors to press for visits to Iranian military sites as part of their monitoring duties.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
On Tuesday morning, the European Union announced that the final plenary of Iran and the six countries negotiating with it will take place at 10:30 Vienna time, followed by a news conference.

Contacted shortly before daybreak, the diplomat said final drafting of the deal was still going on. But another diplomat said that the deal was tentatively set to be announced in the afternoon Vienna time. Both demanded anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the confidential negotiations.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
Any deal will go to the U.N. Security Council, which is expected to endorse by the end of the month, to start the mechanics of implementation long-term, verifiable limits on Iranian nuclear programs that could be used to make weapons in exchange for an end to sanctions on the Islamic Republic.

this doesn't say they will have access.

" a compromise between Washington and Tehran that would allow U.N. inspectors to press for visits to Iranian military sites as part of their monitoring duties." ?

What the hell does that even mean?

Washington: We really want to monitor your military sites
    Iran: No
Washington: This could be a deal breaker
Iran: Well we'll allow you to keep pressuring us to inspect them

What the hell kind of compromise is that?

I mean we should either inspect them or not. Lift sanctions or not, but lets not go on about some compromise where there isn't one.

I did read it. Where does it say we have definitive access to their military installations?

If Congress votes against this agreement proposal, Congress would face a veto of the bill. As of right now, Congress does not have a super-majority to do that.

I agree Congress will do everything in it's power to vilify the agreement.

The article is not the agreement. You want to argue particulars of the agreement when they have not been released.
