Your post makes no sense. Snowflakes are the ones complaining that someone cannot be celebrated as a holiday. That they are insulted (as he literally stated). The snowflakes need to relax. People celebrate holidays. This temper tantrum you are throwing doesn't change it.

Robert E. Lee's Opinion Regarding Slavery
So Lee owned slaves and fought for the confederacy, yet Lee was anti-slavery.

Makes as much sense as your claim to be black.

I saw you and Tediminator insulting each other, but a snowflake wouldn't insult anyone unless, possibly, it were a super-buffed snowflake.

    Are you a super-buffed snowflake?

I am simply not down with celebrating a traitor, yet you obviously are. That is the nature of this particular disagreement.

His saddle helped win the war though. That and the use of sturdy thrifty Morgans rather than inefficient high strung Thoroughbreds.

Yep, how have many Generals had a saddle named after them?

He wasn't tried as a traitor, but by any definition of the word, he took arms against U.S. citizens on behalf of another nation.

    Not that i know of.

It's a great saddle. Fits lots of types of horses and is easy on their withers.

BTW the neighbors when I was a kid, had a thirty year old remount with a US brand. He looked like he was 10 until you looked at the teeth.

Going by the dictionary definition of the word (pick your favorite dictionary), he was a traitor. He may have been pardoned - but that doesn't change anything. He led troops against U.S. soldiers who were fighting for the United States of America.
