Lurch Kerry to Grads: Prepare for "borderless world".

How can this idiot hold any position in government, much less Sec of State?

"The future demands from us something more than a nostalgia for some rose-tinted version of the past that did not really exist in any case," he said. "You're about to graduate into a complex and borderless world."

a precious few of them will ask how they'll pay back their student loans with no job.

(far more will ask about -- and demand -- "loan forgiveness")

I'm still waiting for Trump to make speeches in nursing homes promising to bring back poodle skirts and Chevys made in America.

The global economy in 1950 was defined by a lack of interconnectedness and U.S. economic dominance. More than half a century later, stronger international economic ties and the rise of the Chinese and Indian economies are just two of the dramatic changes that are underway as globalization—the process of the world's diverse countries coming together and sharing experiences, events, and trade—continues to be a force in our economic climate.
Kerry was not telling the graduates anything they don't already know.

They still make Chevy's in America?

    Since when?

    Chevy trucks, maybe.

I bought a new vehicle last year and narrowed it down to two choices:

A Chevy from Canada or a Honda from Mexico.

What IS an American made vehicle?

Toyota, ironically. and it's because their workers smartly refuse to let Big Labor in the door.

Donald is going to force US companies to make their products in America again.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said he will push for companies including Apple Inc. to bring manufacturing back to the United States.

"Make America great again," Trump said in a speech at Liberty University in Virginia. "We’re going to get things coming. We’re gonna get Apple to start building their damn computers and things in this country instead of in other countries.”

Nothing said about "forcing" Apple to make their products in that quote.

"getting Apple to start building their damn computers and things in this country" can be accomplished without "force", it can be accomplished by giving companies an incentive to return....

perhaps by creating a much more business friendly atmosphere...versus the adversarial atmosphere Mr. "You Didn't Build That" and his acolytes foster....

perhaps by easing up on some of the onerous and expensive regulations and exorbitant 39.6% taxes that eat into their profits (and wages, for the economically illiterate morons)

perhaps by slowing the steady drum beat for $15 minimum wage.

perhaps by ending all the "Global Warming" hysteria, the "solution" of which will costs US businesses trillions of dollars in new taxes and regulations.
