WE can't call each other names on PH: Trump calls people names HOURLY--his latest...

Nope, this is NOT the same as the other thread I just put up. That was SPECIFICALLY about career diplomats. This is just about 'REPORTERS'. Wacky. Losers according to 'ID BOY'. We aren't allowed to call each other names on a private POLITICAL BOARD anonymously. And we ain't running for anything, nevertheless President of the United States.

Trump slams 'wacky' Maureen Dowd, CNN panel 'losers'

Donald Trump turned his attention back to cable network guests in a Saturday tweetstorm, slamming New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd as a "neurotic dope" and a CNN panel as "losers." The GOP presidential nominee, who has spoken to the Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist several times throughout the election cycle, tweeted that Dowd "makes up things that I never said for her boring interviews and columns."

Trump's tweets come after Dowd was interviewed on CNN by Michael Smerconish on her new book "The Year of Voting Dangerously," a collection of her columns on Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump released this week. Smerconish said Trump listens to Dowd, to which she replied, "Well listens to me is a bit strong, I picture Kellyanne Conway like a lion tamer, trying to Keep Donald Trump on his stool."

Dowd then went on to say she has "confronted" Trump with "many different things that seemed wrong to me," including incitements of violence at his rallies and Bill Clinton's infidelity as part of Trump's campaign, while ignoring Trump's own infidelity scandal with Marla Maples...

And this is why Hillary made a terrible error in calling Trump supporters deplorables and irredeemable.

Now every time anyone starts a thread about Trump's name-calling it will conjure up images of Hillary descending to Trump's level.

That takes the name-calling off the table as a campaign issue ... well, it's on the table because it is so damn depressing. And depressed voters are voters who are more likely to stay home.

And turnout being low historically hurts Democrats.

Hillary's got a long way to go before she descends to Trump's level.

And according to the TRUMP supporters on this board as he approaches 50%, she was RIGHT. How come he can say shit, she can't??

Is it the R thing or the penis thing? I don't know.

It's uncanny how self proclaimed libertarians seem to always resort to authoritarianism as their go to default position.

In a way this is true, but now we're distracted by people having to argue about the relative badness of Hillary's name-calling versus Trump's name-calling.

It was a big error. A big depressing error.

Because according to you guys she is more "presidential" than he is.

    Turns out she isn't.

    She really blew it here.

She's a woman and has to stay within a "narrow band of acceptability."

Trump has done an amazing thing in politics only a few have ever managed to do.

He was successful by setting the bar so low that nothing he does will shock anyone. He could walk onto the set of Good Morning America nude and people would yawn and say, "oh that's just Trump". Its expected from him.

Hillary has taken the route of pretending she is better than Trump so when she screws up it becomes a big deal.

I don't see a big deal with pointing out deplorable behavior. If the shoe doesn't fit, don't put the shoe on.
