The Charlotte Police Shooting Was NOT A Racist Shooting!

Based on the facts which are known in the Keith Scott case, there is no reason to believe this particular shooting was racially motivated. When you compare this fatal shooting to the fatal shooting of an unarmed white man David Kassick, it is obvious the Scott shooting has nothing to do with RACE.

In the Keith Scott shooting, there is no moment where Scott had his hands up. His hands were down all the time. At no moment did he make it clear he was free of a weapon.

In the David Kassick shooting, there are moments on the video where Kassick had his hands where it is obvious that he was not reaching for a weapon.

In the Keith Scott shooting, it is unclear if Scott was holding a weapon in his left hand at the time he appears in the video to the time he was shot. This could have been resolved by Scott showing his hands were free from any weapon by raising his hands up.

In the David Kassick shooting, there was a moment where you can see both of his hands were free of any weapon.

Based on the facts of the case, the Keith Scott shooting is not a racist shooting because it has not been established that the black police officer consistently failed to use deadly force against white unarmed male suspects in similar situations. Where is the evidence of white males surviving identical encounters by this same police officer? Since there is no evidence, we are to assume the black officer who fatally shot Scott is innocent until proven guilty.

Using statistics such as blacks are more likely to be arrested or be the УvictimsФ of traffic stops does not justify making the generalization that this police officer's fatal shooting of Scott was racist. The same people who use this justification, are quick to claim that even if blacks commit disproportionately a greater amount of crime, it does not justify assuming every black person is criminal. A police officer fatally shooting a black person does not mean the black person was shot because of the color of his skin even if this black person was shot unjustly.

First I will start off with Scott's family. Please spare me the bullshit that the protest in Charlotte was primarily about the Charlotte police department revealing the bodycam. Ask yourself why did white people get their ass kicked by the thug protesters. Many of the protesters already believed it was an unjustified shooting explicitly called it racist. The SJWs on Tv continue to talk about the possiblity of the shooting being racist when there is no evidence whatsoever this shooting is racist. The topic of race is constantly being brought up indirectly on CNN. If this shooting was not considered racist by many people on the Left, it would be described as a possible unjust shooting not an unjust shooting based on race.

Regressives are obsessed with all things racist. This is why they have safe spaces on college campuses and stupid concepts such as cultural appropriation and reparations.
