Trump adviser Roger Stone on the Romney interview.

As many of us already posted. It was to torture Romney.

Romney's niece supported Trump as the RNC chair in Michigan. She never was a anybody but Trump supporter like her uncle. Rest assured that if she was she would not get the nod from Trump to be National RNC chair in 2017.

"During the 2016 U.S. presidential election, McDaniel served as a delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention for Donald Trump"

Actually, I was under the impression she got the job because she was a HUUUUUGE DONOR. If not to him to the RNC.

Of course Roger Stone is BATSHIT crazy. A well of CONSPIRACY THEORIES which he has fed to Trump over the years. Whatta guy! Not to mention his very STRANGE 'body art'. By all accounts this is Trump's best friend.

Actually it was a pretty clever move on the part of the Trump people even if they hadn't wanted to torture him. Romney has now been shown without any doubt to be an unprincipled nitwit who'll say the exact opposite of what he said a week ago if he thinks it'll be to his personal advantage. So now he's lost all credibility as a critic of Trump going forward, meaning that the Trump people have neutralised one of the most senior and high-profile possible critics.

I wonder if they reached out to McCain, Graham, or any of the Bushes with possibilities of jobs in the administration for the same reason, and got told to shove it. I do hope so.

It was all about torture no doubt about it. McCain and Graham have been around the block and know all to well that what Trump says to them and what he does to them are two very different things. Romney just gave Trump the benefit of the doubt. Poor guy fell into the same trap of most people giving Trump the benefit of doubt. Never ever assume a con man will be honest for one minute.
