Does it say that in the Hatch Act?.

Just like Madona can't "think about" blowing up the WH...she counld not contemplate violating the hatch act.

Since the election has she said...I will not defend the President?

Now it is a crime for an agent to question what they may do...

Yes. Just like a soldier on a battlefield who "questions" his loyalty to his side and whether he should or shouldn't kill the enemy. He becomes a traitor and a deserter, potentially.

There are places for questioning and places where it should not happen.

All I know, is that in the REAL WORLD, most people can't refuse to do their jobs, simply because they don't like their boss.

The Hatch Act applies only to federal employees. Specifically:
It provides that persons below the policy-making level in the executive branch of the federal government must not only refrain from political practices that would be illegal for any citizen, but must abstain from "any active part" in political campaigns

Since the election has she said...I will not defend the President?
Doesn't matter. Any statement to suggest she wouldn't uphold her oath is enough--at least in my book. SS agents (and all Federal employees) are more constricted than regular citizens.

Now it is a crime for an agent to question what they may do...
If someone currently working for you said "Under the right circumstances, I might steal all your money" at what point would you fire them. SS agents work for the Department of the Treasury. They don't get to hint and picking and choosing what parts of their jobs they may or may not do.

The only way I see her staying employed is to switch to anti-counterfeiting duty, but honestly I think she should be fired.

Just to be clear, the point of the Hatch Act is to PROTECT federal employees from coercion. In the old days, every presidential administration would use federal employees to help them get re-elected. There was a Postmaster in every town in America who was directly appointed by the President through the Postmaster General, who at the time was among the most powerful people in Washington. When the WH switched parties, every town got a new postmaster, probably whoever was in charge of the winning party's efforts in that town. It was called the "Spoils System."

That stuff started to end in the 1870s, with the creation of the Civil Service. The Hatch Act further protects Federal employees from being coerced to campaign for their boss.
    Thanks from Madeline
