The Inevitability Of Impeachment - In just one week.

Trump has been trying to govern by impulse, on whim, for personal retribution, for profit, by decree ― as if he had been elected dictator. It doesn’t work, and the wheels are coming off the bus. After a week!

Impeachment is gaining ground because it is the only way to get him out, and because Republicans are already deserting this president in droves, and because the man is psychiatrically incapable of checking whether something is legal before he does it.

Impeachment is gaining ground because it’s so horribly clear that Trump is unfit for office. The grownups around Trump, even the most slavishly loyal ones, spend half their time trying to rein him in, but it can’t be done.

They spend the other half fielding frantic calls from Republican chieftains, business elites and foreign leaders. Trump did what? Poor Reince Priebus has finally attained the pinnacle of power, and it can’t be fun. One by one, Trump has decreed impulsive orders, un-vetted by legal, policy, or political staff, much less by serious planning. Almost immediately he is forced to walk them back by a combination of political and legal pressure—and by reality.

Unlike in the various dictatorships Trump admires, the complex skein of constitutional legal and political checks on tyranny in the United States are holding—just barely at times, but they are holding. And the more reckless Trump’s behavior, the stronger become the checks.
The Inevitability Of Impeachment | The Huffington Post

the next few weeks are going to be very interesting. One thing the article didn't mention is Paul Ryan saying that he supports the Trump Muslim Ban. Of course, he didn't call it a Muslim ban. But, let's not forget that every court that has ruled on the order thus far has issued a temporary restraint on at least parts of it. Trump's biggest problem is his own big mouth. It's strangely like when he was caught on tape saying he sexually assaulted women. Then , when he was accused of it tried to claim it wasn't true. Only this time he's advocated banning all Muslims from this country. As well as given an interview where he flat out said his administration intended to give Christians a priority in his "extreme vetting" process.

    Anyway.
    Enjoy the article.

You all on the left better get on the Trump Train and do everything that you can to keep him from being impeached. While you may not like President Trump, he's a middle of the road type of a guy. Vice President Mike Pence is a die hard conservative. He is pro-traditional marriage, and pro-life. He'll appoint justices, judges, and cabinet members that will set back the liberal agenda by decades. But you all keep going for impeachment. I don't think you could get Trump impeached but you might get him to resign.

if keeping America safe, protecting babies, homosexuals, Christians and others from murder, improving opportunities for real jobs are upsetting you, then I feel for you.

I suspect this should work out almost as well as getting all those Electors in the EC to change their votes to Hillary!

they still do not understand that Trump and his cabinet do not need special interests to line their pockets. Trump and many on his team have made financial sacrifices to clean up the corruption be it Democrat or GOP. What we are witnessing is an addict being dried out. For too long too many were fleecing the taxpayers and not doing the will of the people or honoring the Constitution.

Trump is beholding to nobody but the elctorate and it's good to see a POTUS finally doing his job.

Being outrageous as a negotiation gambit is neither a high crime or misdemeanor.

Changing your mind is not a impeachable offense.

Neither is "to the full extend of the law" the words of a king.

Ordering government agencies to defy court orders will bring about a constitutional crisis. It may all come to a head today.
