The last 3 months of 2016, when the takeover of Trump was already known, unemployment already slightly increased.
Quarterly GDP growth feel from 3.5% to 1.9%.

Your whole weak and failed attempt of creating a positive notion out of reality, your own OP starts with "The U.S. economy lost momentum in the final three months of 2016..."

Only in the world of a Trump supporter is that something great and positive.
No one dreamed that Trump would win, the election wasn't until halfway through the quarter.

4th quarter GDP would have been even lower had Hillary won, optimism about Trump helped prop it up in the final weeks.

I will be really bad for Democrats, especially in the mid-term elections.

so you're saying the responsibility for the 4th quarter results are still fully with Obama ?
Then why is it used as a praise for Trump on your part ?

Doesn't really pass the smell test.
one must consider what jobs are available and where. there is no data that I'm aware of that tracks this. many jobs go begging due to lack of experience in that field and location (not all jobs allow for relocation allowance). is there any data on that?

Trump mentioned the new figures and did not take credit.

    Why?

Because even Trump knows nothing he has done so far would have be attributed to the good Jan, Numbers.

At least the business man in him came through.

Thanks for the clarification. I had to look that up. You truly do have around net 10 million more people in the workforce since 2007. I am really not that familiar with workforce issues in the US to be able to pass judgment.
