Not a trivial number. Especially since you are in fact correct in saying MAYBE.

The actual number could easily be ten times 1%
    Nonsense.

Trump himself was often critical of President Obama’s outreach to the Muslim Brotherhood, and Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has proposed a bill to call for declaring the Brotherhood a terror organization. In the past, it has been accused of supporting terrorist groups around the world, and several countries, including Muslim nations, have banned them.

If the U.S. declares the Brotherhood a terrorist organization, it would make it a criminal act for Americans to fund the group, ban banks from processing money for it, bar people with ties to the group from coming to the United States and make it easier to deport immigrants who have worked with the organization.

“It is time to call this enemy by its name and speak with clarity and moral authority,” Cruz said in a statement introducing the bill.

It's far past time to start criminalizing these groups.
"Before I built a wall, I'd ask to know
What I was walling in or walling out
And to whom I was like to give offense...."

So...what acts of violence has the Muslim Brotherhood engaged in that making deserving of the title "terrorist group?" Does "terrorist" have any definition other than "people we don't like?"

but I thought Republican's claimed that all we had to do was call terrorist names and they'd change their ways.

Read the Fox News story in the OP.

"The Brotherhood’s critics include prominent Muslim leaders in the U.S. and around the world, with prominent sheikhs of both Shia and Sunni Muslim groups accusing it of engaging in terrorism."

Or, I suppose you could ask DNC Chair candidate Keith Ellison.

I'm asking for specific examples. One group of Muslims accusing another group of Muslims of being bad Muslims doesn't impress me.

It quotes a group called the "American Muslim Alliance" but when I google that, I get only the "American Muslim Alliance of Florida," and its HQ is in Wellington. I know Wellington, Florida. It's an upscale residential community outside West Palm Beach. The "Muslim American Alliance" boasts to Guidestar that one of its accomplishments and goals is a yearly picnic.

The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in 1928. It has some 2000 branches in over 70 countries and it has also been labeled a terrorist group by several countries including Egypt.

Just like any other revolutionary fundamentalist islamic groups it seeks to conquer countries and put them under strict sharia law.

    Keep googling.

I publicly criticize you enough for things you say that I disagree with, let me say publicly you might be right concerning the Muslim Brotherhood. We liberals do recognize there are terrorists we need to be on guard against. We just don't look at all Islam as the enemy like some right-wingers tend to do.
