Breaking: CIA caught spying on French election in 2012 under orders from Obama

So the Obama administration apparently pulled a Russia in 2012 as well as the more well known case of trying to buy the Israel election around that time also.

It seems the left has absolutely no right to even raise a peep about Russia releasing actual truthful information.

Shame on you liberals for your hypocrisy.

WikiLeaks Releases Documents On Alleged CIA Spying On French Presidential Candidates

Anti-secrecy organization WikiLeaks released a set of documents allegedly showing CIA espionage on candidates in France’s 2012 presidential elections.
The seven pages of documents appear to be classified orders for intelligence operatives to gather information regarding candidates’*political strategies and internal communications. WikiLeaks’ release of the documents comes amid growing tensions between Trump and the intelligence community over leaks of classified information that have portrayed people close to Trump in a negative light.
“All major French political parties were targeted for infiltration by the CIA’s human (“HUMINT”) and electronic (“SIGINT”) spies in the seven months leading up to France’s 2012 presidential election,” a press release from WikiLeaks states.
“The revelations are contained within three CIA tasking orders published today by WikiLeaks as context for its forth coming CIA Vault 7 series. Named specifically as targets are the French Socialist Party (PS), the National Front (FN) and Union for a Popular Movement (UMP) together with current President Francois Hollande, then President Nicolas Sarkozy, current round one presidential front runner Marine Le Pen, and former presidential candidates Martine Aubry and Dominique Strauss-Khan.”

Yes, as trump said, the US is not pure and sinless.. Look at the Obama administration had the CIA involved in the Russian, French, and Israeli elections.

Bush had the CIA involved in the elections in Venezuela elections.

There's an obvious difference between interfering in elections and spying on candidates. Everyone spies on everyone. It's breaking into systems and using stolen information as a weapon that's new, at least post-Cold War.

In any case, Trump wasn't talking about espionage. "You think we're so innocent?" was a rebuttal to Bill O'Reilly's assertion that Vladimir Putin must be mistrusted because it is his practice to jail, execute and assassinate political factors he doesn't like. Russians who criticize the state have a unique reason to fear for their lives, even if (and in some cases especially if) they flee the country. Garry Kasparov, for example, is known to be uniquely hard to arrange an in-person interview with because he doesn't want his movements tracked.

To the extent that he thinks about the broad scope, Trump basically was saying that America has assassinated people in the past, and uses things like drone warfare and special ops to surgically eliminate high value targets, sometimes with collateral damage, we don't have a right to criticize Russia. Yes, we do, and to compare our warfighters, their occasional mistakes aside, to Russian assassins who murdered a dissident on the steps of the Kremlin ... is beyond the pale and an indictment of our national honor. And O'Reilly is a fucking punk for not calling him out for it, but that's no surprise.
    Thanks from Friday13
