President Trump visits African-American history museum, praises Ben Carson

President Trump toured the National Museum of African American History and Culture for the first time on Tuesday morning, with Housing and Urban Development nominee Ben Carson and daughter Ivanka Trump at his side.

The museum opened in September of 2016, and the Tuesday visit marks a second official White House event timed in conjunction with Black History Month. Trump marked the beginning of the month by hosting a listening session described by the White House as one with "African-American leaders."
The president's museum entourage on Tuesday included daughter, Ivanka, Ben Carson and his wife, Candy Carson, Sen. Tim Scott and presidential aide and former "Apprentice" contestant Omarosa Manigault, among others. Manigault reportedly arranged the museum visit.

good for Trump. For those that don't know Ben Carson is honored in this museum. Pretty cool.

This would have been a good time for him to try to mend fences with Rep. John Lewis. But hey.

    Small steps.

I must admit I thought it was an unusual place for him to denounce anti-semitism.

Kind of interesting that Justice Clarence Thomas is not honored at the African American History Museum isn't it?

Ben Carson is. So, I'm not sure what your point is? Presuming it's true. May I ask how you came across this information? Can you verify it with a source? Was someone complaining because he wasn't honored? Family? Friends? Other Justices?

Actually, I have to admit I am a bit surprised you were not aware of this.

You are capable of doing a Google search I am sure.

There's numerous stories on that topic.

why would you be surprised I don't know something? Do you know everything? Not your secretary in any case. Why would you have a problem providing a source for your claims? I'm not doing it because I don't think it's particularly relevant. If true. I'm sure the museum has their reasons. Obviously they don't care about politics since Ben Carson is honored and he's a Conservative. What has Clarence Thomas done that's so historically significant?

Is Clarence "Frogman" Henry in there, or do you have to be dead first?
