We do have our fair share of bigots and racists, and they are proud of it.

The numbers do not support the CBO.
Well? It all adds up like this.

You know my attitudes on politics align with yours fairly often, but unless you're actually advocating repealing Medicare and Medicaid and having a cash-only health care system, then your swipes on this issue aren't really backed up by anything. There is an individual insurance market that the federal government is currently propping up, and without being propped up the market will collapse because healthy people would be financial idiots to pay the premiums, and then after the healthiest opt out, the premiums spike, causing the next healthiest to opt out, until only the sickest are left holding the bag and the insurance company goes under or stops selling insurance there. This is called an insurance death spiral.

Would you support repealing Medicare and Medicaid?

You are trying to divert topics again based on your interpretations of nothing factual..nothing new.

There should not be "a healthcare system". If there must be a "system", there should be 50 of them. Why must central government intervene in matters that can be managed by the private sector or the several states? That extends to retirement (Social Security), as well.

    (I know....do you?)

Bingo! Those who opted out of Social Security before it was outlawed are vastly better off than those in SS.

You made this claim in another thread yesterday and it was refuted. (which of course you never came back and addressed:

quote: He didn't steal $500 billion:

"The bill doesn't take money out of the current Medicare budget but, rather, it attempts to slow the program's future growth, curtailing just over $500 billion in anticipated spending increases over the next 10 years. Medicare spending will still increase, however. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office projects Medicare spending will reach $929 billion in 2020, up from $499 billion in actual spending in 2009.

So while the health care law reduces the amount of future spending growth in Medicare, the law doesn't cut current funding for Medicare."

Did President Barack Obama "steal" $500 billion from Medicare? | PolitiFact

So I take it you are okay with the govt program Medicare, correct?

It wasn't true yesterday and it's still not true today.
