Why are the devout so thick headed ?
What is so difficult to understand ?
If you " YOU " start a Christian school and want to discriminate against Gay people because you believe your religion tells you to, no federal funding for you.
    Understand ?
If you go private and do not want federal funds, discriminate to your religious hearts content.

So you put your political party above your religion again. Homosexuals are an abomination to God

Nonsense. Whether or not a person accepts a particular messiah has no bearing on anyone else. By contrast, discriminating against the LGBT community directly impacts other people.

Yes, and God isn't fond of handicapped people either. God can be a bit of a dick, depending on which biblical chapters you put stock in.

Yet Jesus healed many like that

I never did in the first place, and you are a liar to say so. Nothing in my religion requires me to force other people to be a part of it.

No, they are not. The Torah says the act is an abomination; it does not say the person is.

    Vayikra (Leviticus) 18:22.

So you support what God said was punishable by death. Again you put your politics above God.

However, Jewish schools are also not entitled to government money, any more than yours. There is no religious discrimination going on; the proposed law applies equally to all religions.
A Jewish school would have to agree not to teach that Homosexuality is a sin. Would you agree with government dictating that?

The United States is not run by Jewish law. Nor is it supposed to be.

In any case, in order to get the death penalty in Jewish law, a person needs to not only receive a proper warning in advance of the behavior, but there must also be two eyewitnesses to the same overt act. And there are more procedural requirements as well. It's all contained in the Talmud - which is the oral Torah written down.

In other words, please do not pretend to understand Torah law. You do not understand what you are talking about, and are looking for an excuse to be able to kill homosexuals.

No, I do not. You do not understand Torah law, which is not effective in the United States (which is a secular western democracy).

And please quit trolling the same old nonsense, which is really all you are doing.

The government is not so dictating. It is merely a condition of receiving public funds. If you do not like it, do not take the public's money. It is that simple.
