Ah yes, the "deplorable" comment again.

It one of the reasons why Hillary lost, yet they STILL do not understand.

Hillary and her supporters didn't get it then, and they don't get it now.

In an appearance at Colgate University on Friday, the university’s president, Brian W. Casey, asked Biden, “Did you ever think, what if? Any regrets that you didn’t run?” “I had planned on running for president and although it would have been a very difficult primary, I think I could have won,” he responded. “I don’t know, maybe not. But I thought I could have won.”

“I had a lot of data and I was fairly confident that if I were the Democratic Party’s nominee, I had a better than even chance of being president,” he went on. “But do I regret not being president? Yes. I was the best qualified.” Biden has been open about his desire for the presidency since he won a Senate seat in 1972. However, the death of his son, Beau Biden, in May 2015 at the age of 46 after a battle with cancer, kept him from running in 2016.

Biden later hinted to reporters that he might run for president in 2020.

Biden couldn't even defeat Mrs. Clinton in a primary. So it's amusing to watch him prattle on about how she wasn't a great candidate and he could have defeated President Trump where she couldn't.

Biden is one of those candidates everyone thinks highly of until they actually get into the race and start campaigning. Then you see his numbers slowly tank as everyone realizes just how terrible he is at politicking.

You don't know that. If Obama had endorsed him...........(which I think he would have, absolutely).

I do too. Always looking out for the common person. That's just how he rolls.

    What don't I know?

Biden has already gone up against Ms. Clinton in a primary and she got way more votes than he did. Biden has been in primary after primary and always does the same thing. He starts off at the top of the pack due all his fans in the media crowing about how great he is. But as soon as the actual campaigning starts - his numbers melt away faster than Gore's iceberg predictions. He's basically like the Jeb Bush's of the Republican Party.

So why he thinks he is such a better candidate than her is anyone's guess. Denial isn't just a river in Egypt I guess.

I also think you put way too much stock on endorsements. Sure - there might be a few sycophants who may vote for someone simply because their beloved idol endorsed that person. But I suspect that number is rather low.

First, what happened to his bullshit that he had to remain inactive politically to mourn his son? Was that just crass posturing?

Second, seriously -- WTF has Biden ever done that warrants all this adulation from Democrats? The VP is a hand holding operation.

Lastly, no. Fuck no. Another old white man, spouting corporate Democratic machine bullshit?

    No fucking thanks.
    Thanks from Jeremy

She ran a brilliant campaign. Came close to winning, despite being even more toxic for Americans than Joe McCarthy.

    Good question.

I'm still trying to figure that out myself.
