Of course, tax cuts and a couple of wars on the credit card can change that.

But the world is in flames because of his incompetence as a manager and his lack of strategic leadership. Great politician. Horrible manager. Horrible chief executive.
What do you think a community organizer does?

Attracts and mobilizes like minded people. Nothing like trying to build a consensus for action among people who are not like minded.

In fact, he governed as a community organizer. It was us versus them for eight years. He represented his tribe and viewed the other tribe as his enemy. His tribe loved it. But he never did the job.

Both of your points are mistaken.

A community organizer may well have to bring together disparate groups and ideas to develop common goals.

And Obama tried to unite the country. Remember that he was against breaking the country into red states and blue states. From his 2008 victory speech: "Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been just a collection of individuals or a collection of red states and blue states. We are, and always will be, the United States of America."

Trump took militant ignorance and kicked it's ass the First Tuesday of November 2016.

And then we got, "We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for a ride, but they gotta sit in back."

I recall pretty early on he signed a bill overturning a 20 year old prohibition on people having loaded guns in national parks.
