Honestly that's why I find myself questioning all of this. It was our beloved corporate media and "fake news" that led the drumbeat into Iraq. Fake news began a long time ago in reality.

Theodore Postol, a professor emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), issued a series of three reports in response to the White House's finding that Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad perpetrated the attack on 4 April. He concluded that the US government's report does not provide any "concrete" evidence that Assad was responsible, adding it was more likely that the attack was perpetrated by players on the ground.

Postol said: "I have reviewed the [White House's] document carefully, and I believe it can be shown, without doubt, that the document does not provide any evidence whatsoever that the US government has concrete knowledge that the government of Syria was the source of the chemical attack in Khan Sheikhoun, Syria at roughly 6am to 7am on 4 April, 2017.

The image Postol refers to is that of a crater containing a shell inside, which is said to have contained the sarin gas. His analysis of the shell suggests that it could not have been dropped from an airplane as the damage of the casing is inconsistent from an aerial explosion. Instead, Postol said it was more likely that an explosive charge was laid upon the shell containing sarin, before being detonated. The implication of Postol's analysis is that it was carried out by anti-government insurgents as Khan Sheikhoun is in militant-controlled territory of Syria.

    Hmm what do you think?

This report is not going to please The Donald.

Believe Professor Postol had better prepare himself for a sound tweet lashing.

So all options must be on the table or we go off again like in Iraq. Intelligence said....
Postol made it clear that the canister was crushed and not dropped from a plane. Our corporate media is the best state run propaganda we can buy. It's nice seeing Americans questioning the official report and looking at the scientific evidence.

Not to mention the fact that Sarin cannot just be hosed off and if it were a real ariel attack with Sarin way more would have died. Nothing about it adds up.

Journalists reporting only from rebel-held territories are not telling a non-biased story. The bad guys were sent to Iblid, which is where this occurred.

But it would be nice to see someone pick up the story outside of the Russian state sponsored channel RT Television.

Actually, yes, when it comes to the war in Syria. Saudi Arabia is the primary funder to ISIS. Along with Qatar and Turkey and more. Western nations aligned with Saudi Arabia are jumping on to do their bidding.

This is a proxy war being waged by Islamic Fundies. Not a civil war or an uprising against Assad. There is a whole city of Chinese SunniMuslim fundies. Why are they there if this is popular uprising and it's supposedly Assad against his own people?

That is hogwash. The truth has been told and posted here many times bu you won't even look at another side to the story. And why is it so hard to beleive?

Saudi Arabia acts like ISIS to it's citizens everyday. You surely know we literally bow to their Kings and Princes and hold hands and play kissy-face. Why is it hard to believe we are on their side in this?

Especially considering it means being against Iran, Russia, and China. Duh.

Again who cares, it did the trick, we aren't talking about Russia right now right? Psst, it was Putin and Trump

You know what is difficult though? When a story comes out, it's copied a million times to different outlets. So for instance when the thing first came out about the delegation going out there to report what is really going on, I posted it but failed to save the link for future reference.

So now when I go to seek it again, it's mixed up in 1,000 google hits. So, I pick one that says the same thing as the initial one, but it's from RT or some other source people say is trash.

But another thing is why is Western Media considered more trustworthy than RT? all governments lie and use their media to do it.

That is why I try and find other ways of information. And then judge the merits of something from CNN or RT based on things I already know to decide if what they are saying is true.
