Trump has done more than anyone to rebuild the Dems. They were dazed, confused after November. Really ready to just lie down and be depressed. No-one could have thought that they would be able to block all major legislation through April or May, if not indefinitely. But then, no-one thought to take away Trump's Android...

I was born in 1943, every Presidential election since I was born except two were correctly predicted by the fucking polls. What the fuck is wrong in Texas that they do not educate their citizens at all? 1948 and 2016 are Every Time in your weak ass intellect?

Any Republican who is palatable by a basic standard to the base will win this district, unless Democrats do literally everything right. That was the case in Wichita, without a doubt, and that will likely be the case here. Ossoff is a yuppie Don Quixote, but it's still a fight worth fighting. And if he gets a pretty solid plurality today, as forecast (specials are notoriously hard to poll, you just don't know who is going to show up in an odd year outside of November), it'll be an achievement.
This election is similar to the one in Massachusetts for Kennedys seat right after Pres Obama's win where Scott Brown won that seat. Feeling a lot the same way.

Leftists need a 'referendum on Trump' victory so bad they're preemptively celebrating 'almost wons'.

a bizarre form of Push Polling.

    Gotcha.

Didn't polls have HRC way ahead according to Cons?
I didn't get my assessment from those polls. I spend a lot of time in the city. My apartment is in that district, although my address is my home, so I do not vote there. Yes, the district is a red district but it is far from an ignorant redneck district. I'm betting the only tractors around there belong to DOT. Probably less pickup trucks per capita than the rest of the state.

John Ossoff and the Democrats have spent a crapload of money and had more to spend for the runoff. Yes, even the Democrats are expecting this to go to a runoff.

We will know at the end of the day if Trump is turing Republican strong holds Democratic all by himself.

Because these are solid, solid red districts and should not be competitive. WOULD NOT be no matter how much money they spend, if Trump were not in office with the record he's had to date. Most likely, if Ossoff wins somehow, he'll lose in 2018 against the regular general electorate for this district. How many times does this have to be explained?

It is doubtful the Democrat will take it in round 2. If he does it will be interesting.
