    If you find a progressive in Georgia he's lost and crossed the border by mistake.

    can't believe he actually said this. So, the guy that ran as Democrat for president, after saying that he'd be a hypocrite if he ever ran as a Democrat. Then, changed his party back to Independent after the election. Is now saying "if you run as a Democrat you're a Democrat"? This is the kind of crap that pisses people off about Sanders. Here the Dems are with a fighting chance to flips a district from red to blue. It's going to be close and many people feel that Ossof doesn't have a chance. So Sanders decides on the first day that the run off election campaign begins to run his big fking mouth and potentially deny Ossof progressive support. I can't wait for him to do a town hall somewhere close to where I live so I can give him a piece of my mind.
    It's no good, putting corporate whores in office whether they call themselves Democrats or Republicans. What matters is electing progressives, in either party.

    Why is it so terrible for Bernie to say I don't know, if he doesn't?

    Seriously? Your response reminds me of when Republican's were asked if Obama was born in Hawaii? Some of them actually refused to say for sure. What reasons does Sanders have to doubt that Ossoff is a progressive?

    Because there are a lot of moderate Democrats in Georgia, especially around Atlanta, and even some moderate Republicans that will vote for a moderate Democrat. What few progressive Democrats there are in Georgia keep a low profile and vote for the moderate.

    @EnigmaO01

    He isn't a Bernie Progressive. He is centre JUST A BIT right of left. Not a bad thing to be if you want to win in a Republican State. Remember people in Georgia think Progressive is a socialist. They would no sooner vote for Bernie than they would for somebody that is like Madeline who is a proud socialist.

    Think of it like this:

    SCALE OF 1 TO 10 WITH 1 BEING VERY LIBERAL AND 10 BEING VERY CONSERVATIVE.

    BERNIE=2
    TRUMP=8
    OSSOFF=5-6

    The sole of the Democratic Party has to figure out were they want to land between 2-5 just like the Republicans has been figuring out were they are from 7-10. The people up for grabs are
    the 6 in Georgia so the candidate for both the D's and the R's has to land in that scale.

    If he is being so influential with the party, then he should take the time to know candidates who are running.

    Possibly. I still can't see the harm in saying I don't know, if he doesn't.
