And then while the bed wetting liberals are celebrating their win, Mike Pence, a true, dyed in the wool, pro-traditional family, pro-life, life-long Republican is sworn in as the 46th President. He appoints judges and justices, signs laws, issues executive orders that set back liberals by decades. The Republicans, especially those that never liked Trump celebrate as the liberals cry, whine, protest, and throw fits.

I will be laughing my ass off at those crying. The LGBT will be the real losers. Planned Parenthood will cease to exist.

    Trump is dead meat.
Mueller's investigation will prove that Flynn was doing Trump's bidding and doing what Trump directed him to do.

Trump and his father never had any respect for rules or laws and winning at all costs is all that mattered to them.
The is no "Right or Wrong" in Trump's world. There is only "Winning or Losing."

If Pence gets to the office, his tenure will be muted. There will be almost no movement on a national agenda. Pence will be so behind the 8 ball that his presidency would be nothing more than stwerdship ala Ford.

What do you mean? @Spookycolt says Mueller can not investigate Donald Trump.

    Kudos to Rosenstein.

Former FBI Director Mueller was a pretty brilliant pick to lead the investigation.

Thank you.I was just getting ready to post the same thing. Pence is already damaged. By the time this investigation is over he may wish he had finished his term in Indiana, then become a Lobbyist.

    I never said that.

I said Trump wasn't under federal investigation.

You hope his tenure will be muted but let's think about it. Many Republicans did not want Donald J Trump to be president. Didn't we hear people saying they wished the ticket was flipped? You think that because of how Ford's went that means anything in today's political climate. No, Pence would be appointing very, very conservative justices and judges. The Senate would confirm them along party lines. The Congress would pass bills, budgets, etc that was conservative and Pence would sign it into law. Planned Parenthood would lose federal funding. That's pretty much a given. I doubt they'd survive. There would be religious protection acts, you know those laws that put the religious rights over the LGBT instead of the other way around?

Another big difference? Gerald R Ford was president from 74 - 77. The Democrats controlled the House and Senate during that time. Things are different now. The Republicans control the House and Senate. So in the event Donald J Trump were to resign, Mike Pence would have a favorable Congress to his back, a conservative court, and a lot of the country supporting him.
