    This is the latest from Chris Cornell's wife. Apparently, he was prescribed Ativan, which is an anxiety drug that is commonly given. She feels he may have taken too many of them. Ativan is similar to Xanax.

    Ativan is basically the same thing as Valium. Seems like too much would just put someone to sleep.

    But who knows.

    I agree....I use it on occasion to sleep and it works well for that. I have never heard of it contributing to suicidal thoughts like the SSRI's. But like you said, who knows.
