Yeah, they mentioned that he was in the Navy.

While in the Navy he spent time in the brig.

Since his Navy time he has been arrested twice for drinking and driving.

    He was in the Navy.

    He has issues.

    Seriously.

Him and how many other people out getting arrested for behaving even worse...but not happening to live near Times Square where the spotlights are bright.

This is a non-story, in specific. In general, I'd say it's a signal that our efforts to handle drug abuse in America are pathetic. Treating people like criminals is insanity and makes everything worse. It just does. It enables the dealers, and that's only the most harmful effect of our policies.

But despite your opinion, it was a pretty big story according to the "news" media.

For decades, since I was a child, the "news" has always been about rubbernecking at whatever was the most dramatic train crash you could find somewhere, especially while the reporters transparently pretend to be telling us about something important and oh-so-tragic...through their poorly disguised glee.

    Rubbish.

Trying to turn this into an anti-military thread? Par for the course from a liberal.

I think the suggestion was that perhaps the person was suffering from experiences during service, and possibly commenting on the lack of effective support afterwards, and obviously how tragic it is that we could leave somebody who served to crash and burn like this. I could be wrong though.

Maybe you're right, and they were just saying, "The military sucks." You're probably right, now that I think of it. Liberals always do that.

    Not "Rubbish".

    Ratings equals money.

I'm saying this could be a vet that we failed to help.

P.S. Trump blames all his woes on others. He's not into taking personal responsibility.
