This isn't the election everyone was interested in.

Just another long time Republican seat which is still Republican and someone is trying to make a story out of it.

This is for the State of Georgia. It's not a Federal election.

Election results: Georgia Senate District 32 - Special Election - Story | WAGA

ATLANTA - Voters in Georgia’s State Senate District 32 will decide who they would like to serve under the Gold Dome after former Sen. Judson Hill resigned to run for Georgia’s 6th U.S. Congressional District.

The special election featured 8 candidates made up of 5 Republicans and 3 Democrats in April and on Tuesday May 16th 2017 in a run off Republican Kay Kirkpatrick won the duel with Democrat Christine Triebsch to represent parts of Cobb and Fulton counties in the state Senate.

“The turnout for this election was higher than anyone expected it to be,” Fuchs said. “It puts it into perspective how many voters are paying attention and are engaged on the state Senate and congressional campaigns.”

Georgia elections: State Senate runoff may have just broken a record

You should be interested in all of them if you plan on getting congress back.

Except this wasn't a Congressional race. It was a race for the state House. I don't think there is a progressive, or Democrat out there who is under the mistaken delusion that Georgia is going to magically turn into a Blue state any time soon.

You guys have lost over 1000 seats because you aren't concerned.

Right now the left is only worried about some seats in the upcoming midterm when you should be focusing on the whole nation.
