Nah, that's not what I am saying.

If that's what I was saying, I would have said that.

I'm saying some of the "protesters" in France this week are probably going to burn cars, break windows, and injure cops.

I hope not, but predict they will.

They mostly do. That's hardly unique to Trump. The Canadian authorities were so afraid of violence last year that they made the biggest mass arrest in Canadian history: https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...-rights-abuses

I call BS. You'll be scouring the internet looking for stories of French violence. If a bottle rocket goes awry and cracks someone's windshield, you'll be back here callingl it a "movement."

this isn't the G20 summit. It's a celebrate. Fireworks, parades, wine, dancing, food. That sort of thing. The only thing plan in the protest is a "no Trump zone". There's no reason to anticipate any violence. Whereas, the G20 we've seen violence every year. This day in France is reminiscent of our 4th of July celebration. There hasn't been any violence prior to this year that I can find when I research it. You?

So? The fact that long, thin strips of deep-fried potatoes are a Belgian invention didn't stop us from protesting the French with "freedom fries."

I don't think I'll have to "be scouring the internet".

I think it'll be big "news" as reported by our "media".

Hope I'm wrong, but I think I'm right.
