There's this little angry homeless man in a wheelchair I see quite often and he's always yelling at people.

He carries a baseball bat strapped to his little homemade wheelchair gun rack.

I sometimes get the desire to go just tip his chair over and see what he does with the bat.

The dude is a serious asshole.

Trying to compare censorship to risking a child's life with some horrible genetic disease is one of the more stupid comparisons I have seen you make...

The man knows what a joy it is.i am happy for him, too.he suffered enough.

But to get to the point of the Op, that is shameful. What worries me now,is that we have a narcisstic, low information man in the WhiteHouse, who would love to have the power Putin does. And a Republican Congress, led by 2 men who are as craven as Trump is. And,I am not sure we have enough decent Republicans to stand against him. So far,I have seen very few.

You may approve of that,I do not.
Please get your TDS under control....as this thread has nothing to do with Trump.

It was a roll of the dice like I said. The child was lucky to turn out healthy. People with horrible genetic diseases should put the child's welfare first - not their own selfish desires to experience joy as you put it. Adoption.

Yeah, you and Trump get off on mocking the disabled. Does it make you feel manly?

How is it your business what couples choose to do?

Do you stick your nose in when the issue is abortion?

I believe society has a responsibility to protect children from irresponsible couples - and that includes couples with horrible genetic diseases who would risk passing those off to their children.

The welfare of the child should come first in my mind. Not the selfish desires of this couple who would willingly roll the dice with what amounts to a innocent victim who had no say in the matter.

Like I said - they should consider adoption instead.

This is what he has: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spinal_muscular_atrophy

Good news is, Tatyana Moskalkova, the national human rights ombudswoman, has now got involved in his case; she has met with his parents

She is the one who forced the FSIN, the penitentiary service, to transfer him from jail to the hospital, so he can get the medical help he needs; and has now visited him there, personally, to make sure he is well looked after.

The family have much hope now

Moskalkova is a surprisingly good woman... When she became the Ombudswoman, last year, there were a lot of people sceptical of her investigating police brutality and such complaints, because she is herself a police officer, and not just officer, the only known woman GENERAL of police!

Many thought this was the security state officially slamming the door shut on any meaningful human rights oversight...

But, maybe people were wrong about her. Nobody knows all the wrongs of the force quite like an experienced insider... Maybe she really does want to change things for the better That would be awesome...
    Thanks from Friday13

Everything has to do with Trump, including him making fun of a disabled man.

The reason you do not want to hear about the pathetic piece of humanity you helped put in office is because you know I am right.

The same goes for the couple that decided to have a healthy child. With genetics the way they are today they can monitor the baby every step of the way. You bitch, I am happy for them. Frankly,it is none of your business. You do not even know them.

Just like the man and his wife, they are happy parents. My reference about going through so much was about him, not this couple.

Yeah, you're a busybody who thinks you have the right to tell couples what to do.
    That's so rightwing of you.

Some Republicans were considering the idea
of prohibiting abortion of fetuses where genetic testing
confirmed Downs Syndrome. Another example of
rightwing busybodies sticking their nose where it doesn't belong.
    Thanks from The Man
