Majority Thinks Trump Jr.ís Meeting Was Inappropriate, Poll Finds

But it appears to have done little to change minds about the administration’s Russia ties.
Most Americans believe it was inappropriate for Donald Trump Jr. to agree to meet with a Kremlin-linked Russian lawyer who was said to have damaging information about Hillary Clinton, a new HuffPost/YouGov survey finds.

The story, which has dominated the news this week since Trump Jr. tweeted out a copy of his email exchanges preceding the June 2016 meeting, has drawn widespread media attention and heavy scrutiny in some quarters.

A majority of poll respondents, 53 percent, said it was inappropriate for Trump Jr. to take the meeting. Just 22 percent considered it appropriate, with the remaining quarter unsure.

More than three-quarters of the public say they’ve heard at least something about the story, although only a third say that they’ve heard a lot

wow. The majority say that the meeting was inappropriate. But, the majority , mostly Trump supporters, also say they really just don't care? I'm seriously starting to wonder if Trump approved of a Russian military parade down the streets of DC if they'd be ok with that? Because it's becoming clearer everyday that all Trump supporters care about is themselves.

Most Americans don't care about it.

And there's a small number who even know about it...

Not many people cared about Watergate until late in the summer of 73 when it was pretty decided.

See you in a couple of months.

Just 22 percent considered it appropriate,

That is less than the 27% that strongly agree of Trump's job performance. That is significant.
