Trump shows deep, dismissive contempt for his base, a belief he can say anything

I mean seriously. What the actual fuck.

This is irritating to see the President of the United States say, but if you're a Trump supporter, or at least not inclined to embrace the Democrats, it should anger you most of all.

He live-tweets Fox and CNN broadcasts virtually every day. It has been reported by just about everyone, even some Trump-friendly mediums trying to nudge him away from the boob tube and onto policy, that he watches at least an hour or more of TV every morning and night... That his staff do their utmost to give him things to do so he doesn't see something on TV and rage tweet.

It should tell you that your president believes that you will accept literally anything he tells you, no matter how far detached from reality, either because he's got you tied up like a bow around his personality and dogma, or because you're too fearful of Democratic rule to entertain basic realities.

    Is he right?
    Thanks from Davocrat

Do you believe that the president does not, as has been reported across the board and as indicated by his Twitter history, watch at least some TV virtually every morning and night?

First of all .... I could care less what the fake news MSM is reporting about the White House.

And, secondly, I would say it's safe to assume President Trump watches some TV.

Trump's own tweet states he has little time to watch TV.

Not that he has NO time to watch TV.

This is more faux outrage from the sheeple.

So, yes or no: Trump watches at least one hour of TV every day unless his staff deliberately stacks his schedule to prevent him from doing this, something they rarely have the opportunity to do (such as on overseas trips).

And that prevents him from doing his job how?

Is he avoiding meetings to watch soap operas or listening to it at the end of the day or to catch up in the morning?

That's not the issue here, and you know it.

He can watch TV and do his job. He may not, depending on the situation, be able to do his job as effectively, but these are not mutually exclusive.

The issue is that he's watching so much TV --- and is both being called out for it and readily observed doing it based on his times/subject matter of Twitter activity --- that he has decided to blatantly lie and say he doesn't have much time.

He does. He sleeps like, 5, 6 hours a night. He says sometimes 4. He watches it morning and night.

He live-tweets. A pattern of comments and retweets over the course of a program. Sometimes several in a row on Fox.
