Yes that is why the company I work for does billions in charitable care..

wow.. US is capable to treat this child UK says KILL THE PIG KILL THE PIG.. (Lord of the flies reference)
That's a lie. Not only a lie but a crass stupid partisan spew. As usual.
Charlie Gard has had almost a year of the best treatment available anywhere. He has no prospect of anything approaching a life. An American Dr wants to prolong his existence enough to extract a million dollars from his parents on a speculative treatment which will do little if anything to change his dire circumstances.
The clinical decision to allow him to die was made on clinical grounds, not financial. Nobody knows how much his treatment to date has cost BECAUSE NOBODY KEEPS ITEMISED ACCOUNTS on an individual's treatment. Treatment is free at the point of use, funded from taxation.

Poor people in the USA don't get as far as seeing a doctor to order the tests.

The poor girl in the OP got $21 million in health care in one year. Would she have received the same in the UK?

You see what I'm saying, then. These problems are already being played out all over the world, some countries doing some things right, other countries doing other things right. The test cases are all over the globe.

People die in the U.S. all the time, that doesn't mean our medicine sucks, does it? That's what I mean about how you can apply an anecdote in an argument. Many things about our system--- many things ---could be raised to point out to you just how broken our system is. You'll read that Canadian article but your GOP tells you not to read anything about how bad America's system is, so you won't read or acknowledge that.

Also, you don't understand how to use an anecdote properly in an argument, because you are pretty weak at logic in general, so what else could you do except whatever the GOP tells you to do? It's not your fault, really.

The same problem with #Trumpcultists as all the other cults in the world. Inability to see outside the cult.

Yes they do.. you see counting the poor middle class and rich combined if you get sick in the US you are more likely to live unlike 16th ranked UK.

hmm if you wanted the odds to survive would you rather be in a system that is ranked 1 or a system ranked 16th.

US is ranked 1 UK (where you live) is ranked 16th.
