There's no question about how Trump is doing economically but you have plenty of stuff on the other side to dislike.

Think of the economy as the sugar part.
I'm just happy to see this, no matter who is in charge.

If you get one to show up they will just give the credit to Obama.

They will for as long as Trump is in there.

Don't expect them to actually say good job by Trump on anything.

President Donald Trump and his administration are undoing the government’s rampant spending that occurred under former President Obama’s watch.

According the U.S. Treasury’s direct record, a surprising amount of money has been saved over the course of seven months. On January 20th, the day Trump was inaugurated, the total debt was $19,947,304,555,212.49. On July 30th, seven short months later, it’s at $19,844,938,940,351.37. Overall the debt has decreased by $102,365,614,861.12.

    TRUE

    Please read this on Snopes.
Has the National Debt Fallen by $102 Billion Since Donald Trump's Inauguration?

That is an enormous amount of money that dwarfs any other reduction going even past 1992 Clinton administration! Finally some good news out of this administration and hopefully if Trump is not impeached, this trend will continue.

Hats off to our president and our congressmen and women for getting this done.
Just not a fucking clue how any of it works huh? It dropped by the last 2 or 3, maybe 4, years in a row. We are still projecting from FISCAL year 2o16. Let see what happens after JAN 1.

PS. Obama still deported more illegal folks the last 2 years as well, Trump needs to catch up there too.

They can say whatever they want, why should we care? I really do believe that he had a hand in it, congress did most of the work, though.

So the economic recovery when Obama took office, through this length of time, was actually do to Bush then.

So Bush is the one that fixed it, not Obama.

Obama just rode on his coattails or, let me guess, that was different.

Who said anything bad about Obama? Not me, I voted for him. Please converse in a respectful manner or kindly go elsewhere, thank you.

Of course he had a hand in it.

We don't know a tenth of what he does with Congress or how much he influences them, what deals he makes....stuff like that.

The president is the captain of the ship and sets our course, congress is the engine but that engine is useless if you don't have somewhere to go.

Just Trumps election boosted pretty much everything.

I give credit to both Bush and Obama, but truthfully, economic advisers are not politically affiliated -- none of them has an "R" in front of their name.

It boosted things for a while, but nothing like that is ever permanent.

Of course not but Trump is continuing it as it would appear.

He's still talking about getting jobs here, doing what he said he would and the numbers show that.

If this keeps up he will have no problem winning re-election.

The economy is the number one concern with voters.
