Are you one of those guys who looks for Communists in your closet and under your bed before you go to sleep every night, Thor?

Here's a newsflash for you: Communism is Dead. It really is. It lies utterly discredited, as an economic system, the whole wide world over. Just about the ONLY places Communism still survives anymore is in Pyongyang, North Korea; Havana, Cuba; and Cambridge, Massachusetts. Oh, and maybe in the People's Republic of Boulder (Colorado). Everywhere else? Dead. Deader than a doornail.

If you're still getting heart palpitations about Commies, relax, Thor. They're gone. The monsters are gone now, son. You can go back to sleep.

I'm seriously curious why it is you want to talk about everyone except the people this thread is about who were marching with torches?

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest this might be why someone has referred to you as an apologist.
    Thanks from BigLeRoy and TennesseeRain

Yeah no. She knows better after all these years. She must be drunk. It's quite obvious that I wonder why one is acceptable and the other not. I stated very clearly I am against BOTH.

No, they'll have to raid a local Wal-Mart and STEAL them.

Really, think this through. No billionaire or millionaire is gonna buy a bunch of pitchforks for a mob of wildly irrational rioters.

The men who smoke cigars don't like riots.

against BOTH makes you an apologist for nazis. And unlike you, I'm not only sober, I'm not a self medicated bipolar individual.

    Yeah no.

When someone says to you, look at those people behaving badly over there, what are your thoughts on that. And you make the proactive point to skip over condemning them and instead point out that they are acting as bad as another group... you're providing them cover. You're running interference. You're downplaying the bad behavior. You're softening the blow. How's that?

Doing that kind of thing opens you up to being called some variation of an "apologist".

No it doesn't. I am saying no one should have the right to march or demonstrate with weapons or torches or anything dangerous to others.
