It is not a civil rights case. It is a state and federal jurisdiction case with criminal and civil rights violations. I used the term "not a civil rights case" because the case is much bigger than civil rights.

I've never seen anyone more self-contradictory. These thoughts would give me a migraine if I were trying to hold them at the same time in MY head.
    Thanks from PACE

The ignorance of these posts are astounding.

There is nothing contradictory in my statements. First you said he committed terrorism based off the FBI and DOJ pursuing civil rights violations. Then you said it was a civil rights case. I said it was not a civil rights case, but would probably play out like the Dylann Roof case: the DOJ may indict him later on civil rights violation. It is a state murder case and he is in jail booked on a murder charge. The DOJ is looking into civil rights violations. As of last night, the DOJ had not charged anyone with a civil rights violation.

It is what it is and our opinions are based on the sparse facts as they dribble out.

I have heard of hate crimes. Hate crimes require an actionable mens rea. Do you have an actionable mens rea for the suspect that would be admisible in a federal court? Committing a hateful actus reus is not a hate crime. The act also has to be covered under the federal hate crime law.

Information will come out regarding this and other facts that will allow us to broaden our speculations on what charges will be filed. The publicity will force the DOJ to file some type of charge.

Do you have a citation for that?
(if I cross state lines to to rob a convenience store...does that make it a federal case?)

You have claimed that the act is not domestic terrorism. Your opinion is dully noted. Not proven, but made.

It is irrelevant that this person is charged with terrorism or not. Americas know the purpose of driving a vehicle into a group of people.

We have been made aware of the purpose in cities all through out Europe.

You can claim a piece of shit is really "used food". That doesn't change reality.

If you want to play a lawyer on the Internet, it would behoove you to at least first learn to speak proper English.
