Got a call at 5:30 this morning from a family friend screaming "Santa Rosa is on fire" (a city of 175,000) Ive hundreds of friends and family evacuated at this point. My biggest concern is my (ex) mother and father in law who are at this point ... missing...(they live in an evacuated zone) we now have 10 dead and it hasnt been 24 hours yet, and they expext that to rise. Its mother fucking Armageddon out here right now. I couldnt work today, and most likely cant work tomorrow. Devastated neighborhoods....landmarks Ive know all my life,,,,burned to the fucking ground.....

I dont think Ill sleep tonight when the winds kick up again.
Oh wow - I hope you find your missing family members and soon. And I'm so sorry for all the lost neighborhood, landmarks. Another big fire in Orange County were thousands have also been evacuated and home's burned. I have family near there but for now, they seem ok.

What a crappy day for CA

    You take care hon!!

California has always had seasonal wild fires, most seemed to be in rural areas. This one is getting into high population areas and scorching everything in sight.
