    Santa Rosa, Napa fires.

News reports look absolutely shocking. Whole neighborhoods destroyed. Fire right up to population areas.

How vast is it out there? Any Cal residents here seeing this personally?

Many reports that many of these fires started around same time. I hope this isn't an arson issue. High winds are fanning flames.

Lots of grass and scrub brush out there.

    And it's almost always windy.

    I was there last August.

This fire took some wineries, as well as houses.

Hmmm, pity. Hurricanes in the east and south and wild fires out west. What, pray tell, is next?

Im living it right now, Ive missing family members, cant go outside and holed up because if I have to leave...I want to make sure Ive got my pets. You cant go outside due to smoke. Got a call at 5:30 this morning from a family friend screaming "Santa Rosa is on fire" (a city of 175,000) Ive hundreds of friends and family evacuated at this point. My biggest concern is my (ex) mother and father in law who are at this point ... missing...(they live in an evacuated zone) we now have 10 dead and it hasnt been 24 hours yet, and they expext that to rise. Its mother fucking Armageddon out here right now. I couldnt work today, and most likely cant work tomorrow. Devastated neighborhoods....landmarks Ive know all my life,,,,burned to the fucking ground.....

I dont think Ill sleep tonight when the winds kick up again.
