Yes but now the message is how he helped the coal miners. If anyone has noticed, much of what has been said and done has benefitted the states the voted for him. Puerto Rico? Not so much.

I hear that even before the storm, PR couldn't keep the Lights on, due to bad, corrupt, Leftie power company management.

Maybe Trump should send them a few tankers of Coal-Oil?

Here is an article which lists of the Applications for CO2 in Industry:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_dioxide

    Applications
Carbon dioxide bubbles in a soft drink.

Carbon dioxide is used by the food industry, the oil industry, and the chemical industry.[27] The compound has varied commercial uses but one of its greatest use as a chemical is in the production of carbonated beverages; it provides the sparkle in carbonated beverages such as soda water.

    Precursor to chemicals.

    Foods

    Inert Gas

    Fire Extinguishers

    Pressurized Gas Propellant

    Supercritical CO2 as solvent

    Refrigerant

    Fertilizer

    ...
Why, we NEED CO2 so much, we use electricity to fractionally distill it from the air!

    Well...

Additionally, new technologies, similar to oil fracing, using en situ coal liquification/gasification, might make extraction of coal a process which leaves the Sulfur and Nitrates behind, and only brings the "Coal Gas" or better, "Coal-Oil" to the surface.

This new tech comes from efforts to clean up sites like Yucca Mountain, or Fukushima, where electrodes are driven down to the deposite in question, and then electricity is passed between them, through the interviening sand, or coal, vitrifying the sand into stable glass, trapping the radioactive contamination, or driving the gas out of the coal, but leaving the other elements, controlled by temperature, trapped in glass, deep in the ground.

No big underground shafts, no open pit mines, no disturbing the surface over burden, no destruction of the forest above coal deposits....

    It has great promise!

You do know that coal oil is a rough cut from the refining of oil and has nothing to do with coal, don't you?

    It is essentially kerosene.
