FL County pays $3.5mil 4 9YRr olds 'who bore responsibility for teacher molesting the

This was over a decade ago. Apparently, it was appealed. Palm Beach County lost. These little girls were, I heard, hispanic. I have to wonder if they were 'white children' whether this kind of despicable justification would have been leveled at them. What grownups would have EVER laid this at the feet of kids?

Supposedly the PALM BEACH COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD only said that to try and keep the losses down by the claim that the kids were 'complicit'. It was standard boiler plate language for "such cases". How many cases do they have to write boiler plate language for?

There is so fucking much wrong with this story, it defies anyone's sensibilities.

ADDENDUM: I dug down a little. They were 'immigrant' children. It gets WORSE!

The victims’ parents believe Sinrod may have targeted the four girls because they were immigrants, and their families might not have known how to report crimes to the authorities, news reports suggested.

Sexually abused third-graders bore responsibility, school district insisted for 12 years

    Oct 11, 2018

When a teacher molested four little girls in 2005, the Palm Beach County School District placed the blame squarely — on the third-graders themselves.

The children were “old enough to appreciate the consequences of their actions” when they did what their teacher told them to, the district said in court documents.
In response to a lawsuit from the girls’ families, the district said the children “conducted themselves in a careless and negligent manner” and administrators should not be held responsible.
Now, a dozen years after the incident, the district is poised to pay $3.6 million to settle the lawsuit.

The four girls are adults now, but they were third-graders in 2005 when they first accused their teacher, Blake Sinrod, of fondling them in the classroom at Coral Sunset Elementary, west of Boca Raton. Sinrod, who is now 46, pleaded guilty in May 2006 to child abuse charges involving two of the students.
The settlement, one of the school district’s largest, marks a reversal from the district’s claim earlier this year that it wasn’t liable for Sinrod’s actions.

Blake Sinrod pleaded guilty to child abuse charges in 2005. Adjudication was withheld after he met the terms of his probation. (Handout)

Keep pushing that race card there.

And people wonder why there is so much racial tension nowadays.

Isn't it a little early for you to be trolling the boards?

So you have equivocal proof the race played no role in how the students were treated by the board? What is it?

The language from the School Board is extremely sickening. Too bad the award was not 3.6 million to each of the children. Unfortunately, the money does not come out of the Boards money..it is the kids that are not served correctly.

The sickening statements and sentiments belong to the board...not the money.

You know what's ironic as hell? I HAVE to use bad science in order to explain these imbecilic 'racists' perception of what various groups are. (Puerto Ricans are WHITE, settled by Spain--you know part of EUROPE).

You don't seem to care what happened to these small children. Could it be because they are Hispanic?

What I don't understand is how this scum survived these 12 years. I believe if he had molested my daughter, he would have had an accident during the past few years.

If I ever had a mom or dad I had to 'convict' for killing their kid's molester, I would never find them guilty! Let a judge throw my ass in jail. Bring it on!
