    Deal Reached?

Trump just agreed to 2 more years of the ACA! Obamacare.

Breaking news. Link as soon as I can.

Here's your link, but this bill hasn't passed either house of Congress, so I wouldn't start counting chickens yet.

Assuming that it did pass in it's current form, it would once again allow insurance companies to sell junk policies.

No. Only the House and the Senate get to vote on proposed federal legislation.

Trump already agreed to the deal. You honestly think it will not pass? All it would take in the Senate is 3 or 4 votes .we already know of 5.

I don't know if it will pass. I do know that, if it does, it will rip the foundation from underneath PPACA.

IMO that is a death knell of the ACA. The basis of insurance coverage is shared risk. By giving the option of a cheaper alternative for low risk individuals, those not low risk will have to pay far higher premiums. May as well just junk it at that point.

Remember when the mandates forcing people into the insurance pool was supposed to lower costs? Throw that one on the pile of Obamacare lies if the only thing keeping premiums down is directly paying off giant insurance companies.
