I gave a link to a specific song. I won't do homework for members.

Personally, I see this as a smear campaign on her ... to what end?
Well I think they have profiled her. Home schooled, attended a Christian church on a regular basis and performed for the RNC at their convention in 2008. Now she just prefers to not discuss politics. As to the smear campaign they are bored?

"She wrote "Republicans do it better" on her Myspace profile and in 2008 she performed at the Republican National Convention."

Why should she be forced to denounce anything? Can I just make up a list of things that I want people to denounce and if they refuse we say they support it?

Do you think that her record sales would decrease if she publicly denounced white supremacists?

It's a simple yes or no question.

Sure you can. It's perfectly legal, and it wouldn't be out of character for you to do something like that.

On the other hand her coming out as a neo Nazi would make her more interesting.

Might even make her more popular. Who knows?

This reminds me of the shit that many Russian and Ukrainian stars have been going through... You get asked, in a public media interview, "Who owns Crimea?"

Depending on your answer, you either lose yoyr fans and market on the other side of the border, or become a pariah in your own country and potentially trash your whole career. Bloody hell...

Everything is so fucking political, these days...

Celebrity comes with huge benefits and huge liabilities. It's always been that way.
