Bob Goodlatte just straight up quit.
If it doesn't pass the House then all the Democrats can stand up and cheer. All those that vote against it will have opponents that are stating, if it had passed you'd have more money in your pocket. Sorry.

When this is the bill on the table, that's a fight anyone should be willing to wage.

If you're upset, blame your legislators for thinking about their donors first and honest reform second.

One tax bracket was going to have their taxes go up. I think the $20-$40k range.

And other lower income people would get tax savings in the beginning but then in later years their taxes would go up.

And insurance premiums were going to rise significantly from the repeal of the individual mandate which was going to be wrapped into it in order to save money to pay for giving those rich people their massive tax cuts.

Poor people would lose state tax deductions, but corporations would keep them.

Teachers would lose their deductions for buying pencils and other supplies, but corporations would keep theirs.

Private homeowners would lose their mortgage deductions, but businesses still keep theirs.

Other examples of hypocrisy and pandering to the donor class are in the poisonous bill but I don't remember them off the top of my head.

Good news is that it won't pass.

Republicans will be forced to work with Democrats to come up with something which isn't obscene if they want tax reform to pass.

Many of the rich will save in one year roughly 20 times the median income for the country. The ones making that median income might save $100 if they are lucky

Am pretty sure GOP legislators all hate poor people.

Or really anyone who isn't wealthy.

The only reason they go to work is to "help out their rich buddies".

    Those bastards.....
