Moore has run several statewide races in the past and none of this came out then. The timing is curious as the name cannot now be removed from the ballot.

Perhaps not but people can still write-in their preferred candidate's name.

Its says the GOP wants to vote Moore out if he gets elected. I would think the GOP wants to vote Menendez out too but given he is on trial they are waiting for a verdict.

I think Mitch would see it differently than you.

    Two words

    Todd Akin

Moore wins he will be an albatross on the neck of the GOP

It's already bad enough that someone who bragged about his sexual assaults is sitting in the WH.

The Senate is not convicting him in a court of law. The Senate has different rules on who can serve.

a] If the story is true, why does it matter when the person comes forward.

b] If someone is looking for any reason not to believe the story...timing is a great cover.

It could also be that the women had hoped to just forget about the incident but now that they see him running for a high office and in a new capacity to champion legislation should he win, they may feel it is just too important to refrain from speaking out any longer as what could be proposed or acted upon could possibly negatively affect women and other groups?
