    Special Counsel Mueller 'poses an existential threat' to Trump's presidency: Trump friend Chris Ruddy - ABC News
    By ABC NEWS

    "President Donald Trump's friend Chris Ruddy, the CEO of Newsmax Media, said Special Counsel Robert Mueller "poses an existential threat to the Trump presidency."
    "Ruddy, who spoke as part of a roundtable on ABC News' "This Week" Sunday, said he has talked to the president about the federal probe of Russia's alleged meddling in the 2016 presidential election and possible collusion by Trump associates."
    "I've spoken to the president quite a bit about it recently," Ruddy said. "He sees this as, you know, something that is going to go away pretty quickly. He says to me, 'Look, there was no collusion.’"

    ================================================== ==

    Hmm, that remains to be seen. But what else can they say, right?

    Should Trump try to get rid of Mueller that will sound the Big Alarm Bell on this whole matter and set up numerous Red Flags. So, best to just let Mueller continue with his work and openly present whatever evidence he gathers when he completes his investigation.

    So, let's just let Mueller continue unimpeded with his investigation. Why not.

    You're right, the fascists lost the country and mueller is the only chance to win it back...

    So, we do need to change the standard to guilty even if no evidence of guilt can be found.

    Ok, describe fascism for us and how it applies to trump?

    Anyone want to take bets on how asinine the response will be?

    Expecting a rational discussion on a forum for political discussion... You're right, that battle is lost.

    More pertinent, do you want to give him a hand describing fascism for our friend who we both know he will not be able to do himself?

    You really are some kind of glutton for punishment, aren't you?

    Fascism /ˈfæʃɪzəm/ is a form of radical authoritarian nationalism,[1][2] characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and control of industry and commerce[3] that came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.[4] The first fascist movements emerged in Italy during World War I before it spread to other European countries.[4] Opposed to liberalism, Marxism and anarchism, fascism is usually placed on the far-right within the traditional left–right spectrum.[5][6][7][4][8][9]

    "Fascists believe that liberal democracy is obsolete and they regard the complete mobilization of society under a totalitarian one-party state as necessary to prepare a nation for armed conflict and to respond effectively to economic difficulties"

    Fascism rejects assertions that violence is automatically negative in nature and views political violence, war and imperialism as means that can achieve national rejuvenation.[13][14][15][16] Fascists advocate a mixed economy, with the principal goal of achieving autarky through protectionist and interventionist economic policies.[17]
