That inspires a favorable relationship with the reporters in question, it makes any secret actions Mueller wants to make more difficult, and increases public scrutiny on him.

If you cared to notice a pattern, you'd see that most of the time Mueller has done something which has not involved informing third parties, such as the Papadopoulous and Flynn plea deals, the details of those actions have come as a complete surprise to most. We had a little bit of a heads up that *something* would be happening with Flynn because Flynn's attorneys told Trump's team that they would no longer be cooperating in advance, but we had no idea that Flynn would only be pleading guilty to one and only one charge.

That seems to have upset the president most of all, of course knows that Flynn has been a bad guy in many ways, so if the feds are slapping him on the wrist it's because he has something of value.
TRUMP DID NOT KNOW UNTIL HE HEARD IT ON THE NEWS ABOUT FLYNN! That's one fucking tight ship. (I don't even think anyone knows where Mueller's teams offices are! They might now but as of a couple of months ago, several outlets said, no one knew).

I often see this accusations from Turmp fans, yet amazingly there seems to be little indication this is the case, specially considering that Papdopoulos was arrested and pleaded without anyone even knowing so until it was over.
They didnít. Bloomberg News announced it and said, Deutsche always co - operates.

    What a hack.
Also, most subpoenas are not secret documents, and talking about them is legit, unless someone has also been put under a gag order. "Sub poena" literally means "under pain of ..." The government wants the public to know if someone has not complied with a subpoena, so it can show what happens to those who don't, as this is one of the relatively few tools a court has to force someone to assist a criminal case when they're not themselves under investigation. You can't exactly leak a public demand for information.

Clearly your assertion, the former at least, is erroneous as I noted a major twist in this Trump induced saga was not known until afterwards.
So, your case for the Mueller team not leaking is based on them keeping one thing under wraps? You have to ignore the dozens of things leaked to take that idiotic position.

    Derp!

Didnt Deutsche Bank refuse earlier requests for Trumps financial business? Also werent they involved with money laundering with Russia?

Not at you or the notion. I just didn't think of the BANK telling. We're so used to everything coming from 'within', I didn't go oh yeah, DEUTCHE could have told.

That might be why we've turned to subpoenas now. Deutsche is dirty --- they should not have survived the financial crisis. They sold shorts against the housing market, and then shorted the same clients, and when that went bust asked for a bailout.

It'll be interesting to see how much they cooperate (unless the feds manage to keep that under wraps) and if Trump stands by his July implicit threat to consider any Mueller investigation of his finances to be a fireable offense.
