    Bloomberg Corrects Trump Bank Story

Bloomberg News corrected Wednesday its bombshell report that special counsel Robert Mueller had subpoenaed Deutsche Bank records pertaining to President Donald Trump and his family.

The corrected report said the bank records “pertain to people affiliated” with Trump. Bloomberg had originally reported that Mueller “zeroed in” on Trump.

How many stories has the MSM had to alter or walk back this past year? Dozens and dozens. Hundreds probably.

This is just laughable at this point.

You can't believe any the left wingers write about anymore.

The voters are watching though and it will come back to haunt them.

It's not an honest mistake, they got burned by a source who either doesn't know what they are talking about or deliberately planted an incorrect story to undermine their credibility. We know that such an attempt was made with The Washington Post, it's not exactly a stretch to assume that others are attempting it with other publications.

That said, much as the Post had the responsibility to vet its latest Moore accuser --- which it obviously did, with hilarious (and disturbing) results --- Bloomberg had the responsibility to suss out the details of this subpoena. Most likely, all they had to do was what the Post did, WAIT and WATCH. But there is so much pressure to get a scoop on this ongoing catastrophe, too many choose not to do that.

The story came from a German Paper from a German source and they are standing by their story. This is more mudding the water if you ask me.
Trump would not be named in the subpoena "seeking information on affiliated people". I think the clarification is bogus.

Hard to say. There may be a sub poena and gag order in play, in addition to the Manafort sub poena. That said, it does appear that the Bloomberg story was sourced from someone who was not informed on all of the details or has a malicious agenda. They wouldn't correct --- effectively retract --- the entire report otherwise, clarifying in the lead that this thing is about Manafort.

Yet, never are these mentioned in the same breath (or story) as the daily debunks of Trump's Tweets.

Trump keeps staffs of fact checkers busy 24/7. Amazing that in 2017 on the verge of 2018, America needs to have things like Snopes and "Fact checkers"......and even with them, some remain skeptical about anything that does NOT emanate from Tweets by a man who only just over a year ago, paid 25 MILLION dollars to settle a law suit regarding fraudulent claims by his now closed, "university" and a man who took out full page ads in newspapers at the cost of 10's of thousands of dollars to CONDEMN young black men, for a crime they did NOT commit.

Why people believe this man, over others, defies logic, if not sanity.

Another time, Trump looks right and the media are liars. The media has to stop this. In this age, its far more important to be right than first. They are getting burned time and time again, rushing with their "unnamed sources" while Trump and right wing media says they are lying. People are losing more faith in the MSM every day.
