Trump slams Sen. Gillibrand in bizarre, suggestive tweet after she calls for him to r

    What a nasty man.

Our president took time out of watching Fox and friends, apparently, to suggest that a senator would "do anything" for a campaign donation while "begging".

To me, the implication is quite clear. Perhaps not to Trump's staunchest defenders or excusers (if that is a word), but I would venture to say that is simply denial.

While Gillibrand certainly asked Trump to resign, and has had some sort of revisionist perspective regarding who she is friends with, is it appropriate for the president to suggest she would have slept with him or done something with him sexually for a donation? If she ever asked for one at all?

President Donald Trump slammed Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand in a bizarre tweet Tuesday morning, a day after the New York Democrat urged him to resign because of sexual misconduct accusations.

Trump called Gillibrand a "lightweight" and a "total flunky" for Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, New York's other senator. He also claimed she used to come to his office "begging" for campaign contributions, cryptically adding the senator "would do anything for them." It is unclear what he meant by that statement.

Why is this news when it's been every day for over a year in a row?

It's not as simple as "Trump said something"

    He is the POTUS, FFS!

It's just lame if "I" said something or if "you" said something.

It's beyond the pale, low, embarrassing, disgraceful and just effing disgusting for the POTUS to engage in this way (like a 12 year old bully).

Stop normalizing it. You are part of the problem.

    Let's review.

Trump called a sitting senator several names.

Trump implied the senator would have done something sexually for him in exchange for a a campaign donation.

Did trump say something? Yes. Was it grotesque, unfitting for his office, sexual in nature? Yes.

Your response? I covered it in my brilliant OP.
